I qualified in 1996 with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University I then spent my early years of my career at Southampton University Hospital. I quickly advanced to specialise in the Musculoskeletal field at Christchurch Hospital.
During these years, I qualified in Acupuncture, taught undergraduates at the University of Southampton and worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner within the Orthopaedic Hip Team at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
In 2006 I dedicated my whole time to private practice and set up Phase 1 Physio. This has allowed me to personally focus on the specific needs of each client. I also enjoy injury rehabilitation and supporting the positive journey of many of my clients.
My commitment to my clients has recently been recognised by Physio First and I have been awarded ‘Quality Assured’ Practitioner and ‘Quality Assured’ Clinic status. This reflects achievement of quality standards in treatment and client outcomes.
More recently I have taken on a role with the Orthopaedic Research Institute I have many sporting interests in particular, Golf where I have represented Dorset County.
I am registered with HCPC, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Organisation for Private Practitioners, Physio First. The clinic is also recognised by leading Insurance companies including BUPA, AVIVA and Simply Health.
